Preparation:

(1) piperazine was dissolved in methanol in advance, 123.9g(1.05mol) dimethyl oxalate was added into the reaction bottle with mechanical stirring device, methanol was added until completely dissolved, 4.3g sodium methanol was added, and then 86g(1mol) of methanol-dissolved piperazine was slowly added at 40℃, and then stirred for 1 to 2 hours before filtration. The obtained filter cake was washed with methanol and dried to obtain the intermediate product dioxytriethylenediamine.

(2) Add the dioxyethylene diamine prepared in step (1) to the high-pressure reactor, add tetrahydrofuran until completely dissolved, add 4.3g palladium carbon, seal the lid tightly, heat up to 175℃, fill hydrogen into the high-pressure valve until the pressure reaches 5MPa, and continue to fill hydrogen to maintain pressure during the reaction process until the pressure no longer drops significantly to obtain triethylene diamine crude;

(3) Open the exhaust valve of the high-pressure reactor to exhaust the gas, open the lid, drop to room temperature, filter the triethylenediamine crude product prepared in step (2) to remove the catalyst, distillation of tetrahydrofuran, add ethanol to beat, filter, and dry the filter cake to obtain the final product triethylenediamine 98.11g. The molar yield of triethylenediamine was 87.6% and the purity of triethylenediamine was 99.0%.
