About:

Nickel oxide is a P-type semiconductor material with a band gap of 3.7eV. In the traditional industry, it is often used as a photocatalyst, nickel-iron battery cathode material. Nickel oxide is used as a pigment in ceramics and glass. The enamel industry is used as a sealing agent and coloring agent for porcelain glaze. Raw materials for color making in ceramic industry. Used as raw material for nickel zinc ferrite in magnetic material production. The glass industry is used as a colorant for brown glass and picture tube glass shells, and is also a raw material for the manufacture of nickel salts and nickel catalysts.

Preparation:
The invention relates to a preparation method of nickel oxide nanocrystals. Firstly, 170mL NiCl2 deionized water solution with a molar concentration of 0.12mol/L is prepared. Then, 77.5mL water/ethanol solution of KOH with a molar concentration of 0.4mol/L was added to the solution, stirred for 5min, centrifugated and purified, and the green precipitate was dispersed in 200mL mixed solution of ethanol and DSO (the volume ratio of ethanol and DSO was 1:1), and reacted at 150℃ for 3h. Nickel oxide nanocrystals were obtained by centrifugation and purification. Nickel oxide nanocrystals (NiOx) were uniformly dispersed in anhydrous ethanol to obtain an ethanol dispersion solution.
Purpose:
