About:

Aluminum phosphate can be used in water-based alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane, etc., which has high performance corrosion protection requirements in the field of coatings, the need to replace chromate coatings system, effectively solve the early corrosion resistance and long-term corrosion resistance of coatings.

Chemical properties:
White rhombic crystal or powder. The relative density is 2.566. Melting point > 1500℃. Insoluble in water, soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid, concentrated nitric acid, alkali and alcohol. At 580℃ it is more stable, and at 1400℃ it does not melt and becomes a colloidal body. Between room temperature and 1200℃, aluminum phosphate has four crystal forms, the common type is α.
Production method:
Hydrothermal synthesis method In the neutralization reactor with agitation, sodium aluminate is added into hot water and dissolved into a concentrated solution, heated to 85℃, and then 85% phosphoric acid is added for neutralization reaction to generate white precipitation, the end point is controlled at the Ph of 4.2 ~ 4.5, and then the precipitation and solution are sent to the autoclave with a stirring device, heated at 250℃ for several hours and centrifuge separation. The solid is sent to the washing tank, washed first with dilute hydrochloric acid solution, and then washed with water several times to remove water-soluble impurities, and filtered and dried to produce aluminum phosphate products. 

The composition of mother liquor separated by centrifuge is sodium dihydrogen phosphate, which is produced by recovery treatment. The 2H3PO4+NaAIO2→AlPO4+NaH2PO4+2H2O compound decomposition method dissolves trisodium phosphate and aluminum sulfate in water at 85 ~ 95℃ in the solution-tank, and then filters with a plate and frame filter to remove insoluble impurities. 

The two solutions were sent to the reactor at the appropriate concentration and molar ratio [A12(SO4)3/Na3PO4= 1:3] for complex decomposition reaction, so that the white colloidal aluminum phosphate precipitation was generated, and then the liquid-solid separation was carried out directly with the plate and frame filter press. 

Sodium sulfate is recovered from the separated mother liquor, and the aluminum phosphate left in the filter press is washed with dilute hydrochloric acid solution, and then washed with water several times to remove impurities such as sulfate, and the finished aluminum phosphate is obtained through filtration, drying and crushing. Its A12(SO4)3+2Na3PO4→2AIPO4+3Na2SO4
