Preparation method:
1. Oxidation under ultraviolet irradiation
Oxygen is irradiated by ultraviolet light, through the dimethyl sulfoxide solution, under ultraviolet light oxidation reaction, the generated dimethyl sulfoxide, frozen with ice brine to crystallize out. After distillation, 138~145℃ (740mmHg) fractions were collected into finished products.
3. Hydrogen peroxide oxidation
Put dimethyl sulfoxide into the reactor, heat to 90~100℃, add 27.5% hydrogen peroxide, reflux reaction, add hydrogen peroxide, continue to react for several hours. Filtration, cooling with ice brine to crystallize dimethyl sulfone, centrifuge separation, crystallization with 95% ethanol washing or recrystallization to obtain fine. Dry. The mother liquor is condensed and crystallized. The total yield is 90%~92%.
