Application	Aloe-emodin is widely used as pharmaceutical intermediates,health food additives,cosmetic ingredients and hair care ingredients.
Function	(1)Anti-tumor activity Aloe-emodin on the inhibition of P388 leukemia cells and prolong survival. One of the mechanisms is the inhibition of cancer cell DNA, RNA and protein biosynthesis. (2) Antibacterial activity (3) Immunosu ppression Aloe-emodin can inhibit the organisms immune response, inhibition of carbon clearance ability, to reduce the weight of immune organs, reduced white blood cell count, decreased macrophage function. 100μg/ml concentration in vitro [3H]-TDR and [3H] Urd into the cell parameters significantly inhibited. (4) Purgative activity Aloe-emodin has a strong purgative activity of intestinal bacteria metabolism aloe emodin, rhein, rhein anthrone, which has a strong purgative effect.
